my summer makeup bag

my “almost” daily. let’s be real, I do not wear makeup everyday. let the skincare do it’s work has been my motto this summer. when I do I keep it simple.

concealer: I struggle with under eye darkness so concealer is a must to brighten my under eye. I have been loving the Kosas concealer. it doesn’t smudge or run. I am currently between shades so I do have to mix two. If you like the Nars or YSL tinted eye brightener you will love this texture.

skin: I use a tint all over the skin to minimize redness and even out my skin tone. Ilia tinted spf is a perfect fit for summer. It has a nice glow but doens’t melt off. I have been using the Gucci Westman foundation stick for around my nose and little spots here and there. Brings me right back to the Bobbi Brown days.

bronzer: I use a matte bronzer year round to add dimension and bring in color balance to my face. The Kjaer bronzer has a golden undertone that bounces off my freckles easily. If I am really going for it the Kosas sun is a magical glow bronzer that gives your cheeks and neck a sun kissed glow.

blush: I am absolutely in love with a cream coral peachy blush tone and I don’t see us breaking up anytime soon.

brows: I have baby fair brows so my gal pal tints them for me which saves a ton of time on the daily. I use a little brow gel to hold them up and give a little lift and call it a day.

eyes: hmmm, curl, curl, mascara. I like a clean long lash so Kjaer lavender mascara keeps my lashes light and lifted.

lips: while lips have been on the back burner with all this mask wearing, I have leaned into a tinted lip oil from Kosas. its not sticky, hydrating and leaves my lips feeling soft.

to top it off I love finishing my makeup with a face mist. it keeps foundation from looking like makeup and adds a natural glow and softness to the skin. the Kovo toner mist sprays out the perfect fine mist that doesn’t disrupt makeup. It smells amazing and you can use it throughout the day to reduce redness.
